#S6RollsOut Mobile Art Gallery

As the in-house Art Director at Society6 one of my main goals was to get independent artists the exposure they deserved. In 2016 we teamed up with Uber to take art to the streets in true Uber fashion. To achieve that we converted a retired 40-foot shipping container into a gallery on wheels, which we hauled through the bustling streets of Los Angeles. Featuring works from both LA-local Society6 and Uber driver-partner artists, hundreds of Angelenos arrived by foot, bike and of course Ubers, to climb into a one of a kind art experience.

As the lead creative on this project my responsibilities included designing the interior to feel like an intimate high-end gallery, curated the artwork, identified local artists to participate in live painting events throughout the day, and designed the product bar to display popular Society6 products.
